After a year working at Bluehost in the Sales Department I was invited by Paul Mosley (Marketing Director) to start listening and engaging with customers via Social Media. I setup tools to hone in on all of the social channels and began monitoring some of our sister brands. The objective and purpose behind SONAR was to build a team of customer service agents to engage quickly and tactfully with customers on Social Media. 

I was offered a leadership role in SONAR and built up a team of Social Media representatives for Bluehost and various sister companies within EIG. 
Some of my duties and accomplishments as SONAR Supervisor included:
  • Monitored social activity via Hootsuite through channels and keywords created
  • Created a channel of communication to interact with SONAR representatives
  • Managed support operations
  • Designed functioning spreadsheets to monitor progress and quality assurance
  • Determined brand voice and regulated SONAR representative responses
  • Emailed news updates and helpful tips to the teams
  • Reviewed all social media sites and tracked progress
  • Discussed operations with brand communications specialists
  • Encouraged goodwill with customers through "thank you" campaigns
  • Generated leads for sales and affiliate teams via Google Docs
